Max Mara’s New Minimalism – Showcasing its spring 2014 preview, Max Mara looked towards the artistic side of New York for inspiration. Citing art galleries in SoHo, the city’s neon light and billboards as inspiration; the new season is all about minimalism for the Max Mara woman. The silhouette is quite feminine–the curve hugging pencil skirt is paired with light coats in monotone looks ranging from neutral nudes to the more vibrant sapphire blue or emerald-green. Fabrics are light for spring with linen, soft cashmere, wool and tricot materials. The Max Mara woman accessorizes her look with stiletto sandals and large-framed sunglasses.
