4 Cool Wig Styles to Try

Wigs are a great way to change-up your hairstyle without causing extra stress to your natural locks. Celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner and Wendy Williams have popularized wigs in the recent years. But no one wants to wear a cheap, synthetic wig, right? When you find a wig made of human hair, it looks real and more like tresses that would grow from your scalp. So whether you are new to wearing wigs or just want to change your look, here are a few styles you may want to try from sites like addwigs.

Curly Wig

The first style of wig we would recommend you try is a curly unit. It’s perfect if you want a hairstyle with a bit of volume or just a way to try something different. Maybe you have straight hair, and want a change or you’re going to a costume party and want to channel the 80’s. A curly hairstyle is great for framing those with fuller faces. A curly wig looks better at shoulder or mid-length, but if you really want to stand out from the crowd, don’t be afraid to rock a long mane. We recommend keeping close to your natural hair color for a more understated look. But feel free to experiment.

Pixie / Short Wig

If you’re a girl who has always had long hair and wanted to see what it looks like shorter, a pixie wig is the ideal option. You can see what it would look like without having to chop off your precious locks. Growing out your hair to a long length can easily take years, so wigs are a great alternative. Whether you want to try flapper inspired finger waves or a Twiggy inspired pixie cut, the options are endless for short cuts. You can shop for wigs like this at addcolo.

Bob Wig

A bob-length haircut can be complementary to many faces. If you ever wondered what you would look like with a bob or even a long bob, then look at these wigs. Whether you want to keep it simple with a dark brown hair color, or stand out with a bold auburn hue, there’s plenty of options. You can also get a bob-length wig with bangs for a super chic cut. Channel your inner Anna Wintour or Louise Brooks with a bob hairstyle, and be the ultimate fashionista!

Ombre Wig

Last but not least is a ombre wig. The past several years has shown the rise of girls wearing the popular hair color trend. It’s a great way to wear a bold hair color that you may have never tried before. If you would rather not dye your precious locks, a wig is the perfect option. Kylie Jenner can often be seen wearing aqua-green hair, and we think it can be fun to try for a night out to the club or at party with friends. Or what if you have been brunette all your life and what to try being blonde? A ombre wig which fades from brown to blonde is a great alternative.

So there you have it, four amazing wig styles to try if you are new to the world of wiggery. Don’t be afraid to show your personality with the color, cut and texture. And remember to find a style that you can wear more than once if you are paying top dollar. Whether you want to try on a bob or ombre hair color, wearing a wig is certainly not boring!
