Barbie Ferreira is having a major moment on the cover of Vogue Brazil’s April 2023 edition, and we couldn’t think of a better choice for the job. With her mother hailing from Brazil, it’s a homecoming of sorts for the Euphoria star.
The two images captured by Gabriela Schmidt showcase Barbie in two very different but equally stunning looks. The first shot features her wearing a sleek black knit Chloe dress, while the second shows off her figure in an open-knit Stella McCartney dress, posing poolside. The finishing touches are just as noteworthy with statement earrings by Agustina Ros.
Of course, Barbie’s looks wouldn’t be complete without the help of the magazine’s styling team. Chris Horan’s expertise is on full display with his impeccable styling choices and fashion direction by Rita Lazzzarotti. Art direction for the striking shoot is by Julia Filgueira.
For beauty, Daniel Hernandez was the mastermind behind the YSL Beauty face’s polished waves, and makeup artist Helder Rodrigues ensured Barbie’s natural beauty shone through in the shoot. In the accompanying interview, Barbie opens up about her unwavering determination and drive to succeed.
She explains that she is the type of person who, when faced with a closed door, will not give up but rather seek an alternative path to reach her destination. Hunter Schafer, another breakout star from the hit TV show Euphoria, also landed a big magazine cover.
