Louis Vuitton taps a cast of familiar and new faces for its resort 2021 campaign. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière also photographs portraits starring Alicia Vikander, Malgosia Bela, Natalia Vodianova, Ida Heiner, Mona Tougaard, Metta Irebe, Maryel Uchida, and Clementine Balcaen. Designs include bold stripes, graphic colorblocking, and remixed monograms. The Twist, Pont 9, and Capucines bags stand out amongst new season apparel. In addition to images, a short film shows the women in motion. “Captured in his photography studio on Quai Voltaire in Paris, the campaign debuts the SINCE 1854 jacquard. With the Maison’s founding date mixed with Monogram flowers, the print can be seen on Louis Vuitton bags and accessories,” Louis Vuitton states.
