Burberry Delivers Modern Victorian for Spring 2020

Published on September 18, 2019

Riccardo Tisci looks to Burberry’s past and future for the brand’s spring-summer 2020 collection presented during London Fashion Week. A runway show juxtaposes streetwear inspired looks along with more traditional Victorian styles. An all-star cast including Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid hits the catwalk in neutral hues. The silhouette of the season focuses on a boxy jacket paired with a mid-length skirt. Embellishments of fringe, lace and feathers bring some evening wear vibes. “This is a collection inspired by our past and dedicated to our future. It’s the evolution of our Burberry kingdom,” says Tisci.
