One of the breakout stars of ‘Orange is the New Black’ season three is Ruby Rose. The Australian beauty shows off a more glamorous side than prison uniforms with a new photo shoot for Byrdie. In the images captured by Justin Colt, Ruby flaunts her many tattoos in dark looks.

In her interview, she talks about keeping her hair short. “Hair to me is more—I find it annoying once it gets to a certain length, and I just don’t really like having to deal with the maintenance of it more so than the look. I like the look of it. I have to wear wigs a lot for shoots, and I’m always like, ‘God, it’s really flattering. I look really feminine, and I look like a woman and I look beautiful.’ Then I take it off and I’m like, ‘Thank god that thing is off of me!’”
