The new creative director at Jil Sander is Rodolfo Paglialunga. The announcement was made by the brand after Sander who founded the label, departed the label unexpectedly in October of last year. Paglialunga tells WWD, “I’m deeply honored to have the opportunity to take on this role. I have boundless admiration for the brand as I strongly believe in its pure vision and values.” The Italian designer has previously worked for Romeo Gigli, Prada and Vionnet. Look out for Paglialunga’s first show in September.
