Sander Leaves Label – German designer Jil Sander has decided to exit her namesake brand once again after designing for three seasons. She first left in 2000 to return to designing in 2003 and then exited again in 2004. Sander was re-instated at the helm after Raf Simons went to Dior in 2012. Her last collection which showed at spring-summer 2014 Milan Fashion Week, featured her trademark minimalism. WWD reports that the move is for personal reasons. As for the upcoming fall-winter collection; it will be designed by the in-house team. A replacement has yet to be named.
