The Power of Black – The August issue of Harper’s Bazaar Brazil taps Daniela Braga for a story on all sleek and black fashion shot by Yossi Michaeli. The timeless hue is shown in sensuous and daring ways with designs chosen by fashion editor Patricia Carta featuring the designs of Versace, Tufi Duek and Roberto Cavalli amongst others. Makeup and hair stylist Ricardo dos Anjos is responsible for the Brazilian babe’s slick tresses and smokey eyes.
I think cigarettes and smoking can bring something alluring to editorials, when it makes sense. This, I don’t get. It adds nothing. The vibe of that one shot seems totally different to me, bringing down the whole thing. Which is sad because I like this a lot, it’s sexy and intriguing.
