To the Sky – For its spring-summer 2014 campaign, Dior enlists a cast of leading faces including Stella Tennant, Edie Campbell, Elise Crombez (who also appeared in the brand’s fall ads) and Julia Nobis. Photographed by Willy Vandeperre, the women’s heads are in the clouds (quite literally!) as they pose on scaffolds against a backdrop of vibrant skies. Creative director Raf Simons’ colorful prints and sharp tailoring is on full display in the spring advertisements.
Shoe Maker – Stella Tennant is the star of Attilio Giusti Leombruni’s fall 2013 campaign. The Italian shoe label enlisted renowned fashion photographer Paolo Roversi to shoot the autumn advertisements. The Scottish model poses in four images showcasing AGL’s menswear-inspired flats with dreamy lighting and a sheared hairdo.
Future Past – While Missoni’s previous advertisements focused on nostalgia, the Italian label’s continuation of its sixtieth anniversary celebration looks towards the future with the fall 2013 campaign shot on the deserted coasts of Cornwall. British model Stella Tennant poses against a cubic structure that looks straight out of a science fiction movie. Alasdair McLellan captures Stella in the autumn collection’s graphic prints and subdued color palette.
In Time – Paolo Roversi captures Natalia Vodianova, Guinevere van Seenus, Stella Tennant and Saskia de Brauw for Aspesi’s spring 2013 campaign. The leading models poses in black and white, wearing essential staples such as a classic white t-shirt and lightweight jackets from the Italian label.
Japanese Spring – For its spring 2013 campaign, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld looks to Japan for inspiration with imagery evoking the interior of a traditional Japanese tea house. Long time Chanel muse Stella Tennant joins up and comers Ondria Hardin and Yumi Lambert in the advertisements shot by Lagerfeld.
Chanel Style – Saskia de Brauw returns as the face of Chanel’s fall 2012 campaign and is joined by fellow models Stella Tennant, Kati Nescher, Cora Emmanuel and Lindsey Wixson (unpictured) in the studio images shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The girls all wear sheared haircuts in autumn’s elegant tweeds and layers. (TFS)
Virtual Madness – Givenchy’s fall 2012 campaign taps Stella Tennant for a series of images inspired by the energy of a rave. Captured by Mert & Marcus, Stella will also be joined by Joan Smalls, Stef van der Laan, Daniela Braga, Simone Nobili, Jarrod Scott and Rodrigo Braga (all unpictured) in the new advertisements which are styled by Carine Roitfeld. Dream Weavers – Stella Tenant is a couture goddess in Daniel Jackson’s stunning studio portraits taken for the May issue of WSJ Magazine. Wearing all haute couture garments selected by Tiina Laakkonen, Stella is the very definition of elegance in gowns from the likes of Dior, Valentino and Elie Saab Haute Couture. Hair stylist Didier Malige creates the British beauty’s sheared coif while Francelle is responsible for her understated makeup.
Made to Model – Stella Tennant graces the May design issue of WSJ Magazine wearing a garment from Chanel’s spring haute couture collection. The British beauty poses for Daniel Jackson in the elegant portrait. Look for the new issue of WSJ on this Saturday, April 28th.
McCartney’s Starry Evening – Stella McCartney’s fall 2012 evening collection enlisted some top names for the lookbook including Shalom Harlow, Amber Valletta and Alexa Chung as models. The new collection is simple yet elegant featuring minimal shapes, marble prints, delicate lace and color blocking. A dreamy color palette of orange, cobalt blue, sea foam green, black and white is used to emphasize architectural contours. Metallic accents on belts and other accessories bring a glam touch to the evening looks.
