Michael Kors Spring 2011 Campaign | Karmen Pedaru by Mario Testino

Going for a more youthful and sexy approach, the spring 2011 campaign from Michael Kors goes to the blue waters and golden sun of California with models Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman. Photographed by Mario Testino, Karmen and Simon wear Kors’ elegantly relaxed designs as they go on romantic rendezvous.

in all the MK campaigns, the female models are always posed the same. Perhaps a signature of the campaign themselves?

  5. Michael Kors must have a thing for Estonian models – first Carmen, then Karmen…

  6. I love this… except those aviators, they don’t seem to fit her face very well. Couldn’t they have used a different pair?

  7. I miss Carmen. The ads with her were perfect for MK season after season. Karmen doesn’t have her spark!

    • I think Karmen brings a fresher and more subdued spark. Like MK is drifting from their glossy kind of ads, and going for the natural.

  8. Am I the only one missing Carmen? She’s always gonna be MK girl for me. I love those ads…some of them are quite romantic and they dont try too hard…which I think is the case with the ones above..

  9. This guy has some problem with his clothes: he just doest not know if he put them off or on :-))

  10. This look only works with direct sunlight (hard light) not overcast… Also Carmen Kass is irreplaceable, they should have changed the look to suit a new model, it is a big mistake.
