It’s A Girl’s WorldJill Stuart’s feminine and frilly aesthetic was out in full effect for her spring 2012 showing. Sending out an army of light pastels paired off with neutral hues, Stuart goes back to childhood this season with doll-like dresses, disheveled hair and gold-plated shoes. Following up last season’s fox and owl prints, Stuart found inspiration in cherry blossoms, palm trees and song birds for spring. Walking the line between daytime and bed-wear, this collection brought a sense of sweetness to New York Fashion Week.
