The R&B diva discusses her break from music in the accompanying cover story and captivates in stylist Karen Langley’s retro glam looks, including pieces custom made for Dazed & Confused by Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, Stefano Pilati for Yves saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.

    I love this, but I really don’t think she was the right pick for this type of editorial. I find she’s trying to hard. Her eyes are just not working it, especially in the one with the grill.

      i agree – but i think its the make-up thats making the difference. Its not right for her, her forte is glamour not pop art.

    its sooo bad. whoever likes this must be quiet !!!that says that you have no knowlage in photo or beauty. she always looks cheap and when she goes glam its a joke…. Getto!!!

    I really can’t see the vision in this shoot either. I we supposed to believe that someone who can afford to dress & be styled like this is hanging out in a place like this? I don’t get it! & B looks like total crap in the first shot gah!

    i love this shoot, really enjoy the over the topness of the styling in juxtaposition with the setting
    also has no one ever heard of bedroom eyes?
