Balenciaga Spring 2011 | Paris Fashion Week

Bringing androgyny to the spring season, Balenciaga’s most recent outing offered a hard edged combination of leather, futuristic prints and sleek silhouettes. A few surprises were also found on the runway as unknown models off the streets were casted alongside supermodels including Gisele Bundchen, Amber Valletta and Carolyn Murphy.

    Very masculine with touch of McQueen ( I cant help but think of Lee whenever I see skulls and houndstooth =] ) That pleated camel leather jacket is to die for.

    I don’t know if I am being picky but I didn’t see one of the models looking feminine nor beautiful I love Amber and I have to say she should never wear this skirt again.

    The first part of the collection with the jackets made me think of Kafka :/. All the girls look like beetles.

    I love the models, there are all so different! even pregnant miranda :) I like the fact that he shows that there are more types of body than just typical skinny model

    Looking at it a 2nd time, I think the jackets are quite beautiful
