Arise Issue #10 Cover | Alek Wek & Models by Marc Baptiste

Arise celebrates the 2010 World Cup with their most recent issue starring models Alek Wek, Oluchi Onweagba, Gracie Carvalho, Georgie Badiel, Aminata Niaria and Nana Kieta on a fold-out cover page. Photographed by Marc Baptiste, the colorful images display which teams the girls are rooting for and most importantly represents the unity of the African continent for South Africa’s hosting of the World Cup.

    Nice edit but these models are ugly, I've never thought that Alek Wek is beautiful, but for some reason the fashion world has always been gaga over her

    • I'm not very fan of Alek Wek but she's a nice model though. You said that ALL the models in this shoot are UGLY…? LOL.

    I wish I'd get to see some of them in more important editorials

    I feel that lately what I'm seeing is getting quite "stuck", always the same kind of beauty, not so interesting styling, and overphotoshoped…
