ANN INC. has released its first mobile app named BFF. With a name like BFF, it must do a lot, right? The goal of the app is to help young women in the fashion business. The BFF stands for Best Foot Forward. The app features amazing quotes from some of the world's most recognizable names ranging from modern day fashion icons like Lady Gaga or those from the past like the super debonair Cary Grant. You can download the BFF app on iTunes or Google Play.
BFF also has alerts for internships and notifications for new jobs. One of the app's features is the Trendspotter, which allows users to upload some cool pics showing their best looks using the hashtag #bfftrends. I perused the app recently, and am a fan of the quote and important date sections. So much of fashion is about rushing on to the next thing, but ANN INC. manages to look to the past. Oscar Wilde in particular has many great quotes like, "You can never be overdressed or overeducated." Definitely!
