Closing out Paris Fashion Week, the spring-summer 2016 collection from Miu Miu showcased a mashup of retro styles that ranged from 1950s housewife to 1970s glam rock. One thing was clear though; Miuccia Prada had layering on the mind for the upcoming season. From oversized coats to chunky cardigans to sheer negligees worn over separates, it was all about the art of the add on. Finishing her look, the Miu Miu woman wears platform style boots with chunky heels and ballet flats wrapped up with frayed edges and utilitarian style buckles. A glittering headband paired with low hanging pigtails gives an unexpected touch of youth to the look.
