Medieval Tales – For spring 2013, Jitrois designer Jean-Claude Jitrois was inspired by the stained-glass windows and architecture of medieval churches. The influence can be seen in leather panels and bands, positioned to form geometric lines much like the artwork stained glass. Although inspired by centuries past, the season is thoroughly modern with couture shapes, crystal embellishments and the juxtaposition of leather and exotic furs.

  1. I like the subtle and not so subtle references to medieval architecture in the structure and lines. I also get a kick out of the “stain glass” motifs. Someone actually did their homework.
