  1. I want to like this piece, but her face looks plastic. I don’t understand why people are so attracted to removing all skin detail in the human face and making models look plastic. What’s the appeal? It looks obvious that the skin was removed. Do retouchers think people will better relate to plastic subjects? The removing of skin gives the appearance of sharp, unnatural jawlines, as in the first photo, the black and white one.

    • The thing is, sometimes the original photos, especially in fashion full body images and location, depending on lighting, etc., don’t have that much texture to begin with, so it is not always that it is removed in post.

  2. why is it uninspired?I think it’s pretty good.All the clothes are from Chanel.They wanted to do it so.They could have chosen a better model but overall I think it’s not bad at all.
