Chanel Goes Through the Woods for Fall 2018

Joanna Elizabeth / Published March 6, 2018

Marking the last day of Paris Fashion Week, Chanel’s fall-winter 2018 show took place in a woodsy setting complete with leaves on the ground in addition to oak and poplar trees. Designer Karl Lagerfeld opened the show with a long, black coat worn by model Grace Elizabeth. As the collection progressed, leaf embellishments, long scarves with fringe and fingerless gloves stood out. Chanel focused on metallics with knee-high boots, wide-leg pants and relaxed skirts. For evening wear, lace embellished gowns and dresses in black included glittering sequin embellishments.
