Chanel - Fashion Brand
Chanel is a French fashion brand founded in 1909 by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Chanel is often credited with popularizing the "little black dress" in the 1920's and 30's. The Chanel tweed jacket, No.5 perfume, camellia brooch and pearls are also signatures of the brand. Today, the Chanel brand produces haute couture, ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry and cosmetics. Karl Lagerfeld is the current creative director of Chanel--a post which he has held since 1983. Through the years, stars like Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Paradis, Cara Delevingne, Lily-Rose Depp and Gisele Bundchen have served as ambassadors for the brand.
