For Armani Prive’s spring-summer 2016 haute couture collection, designer Giorgio Armani embraced a lilac color palette for his dreamy showing. Opening with a selection of tailored jacket and shorts adorned with romantic ruffles, the Armani woman is in a casual mood for daytime. Moving on to cocktail hour, hemlines lengthen for sheer pants with scalloped edges. Then comes evening wear. Armani had plenty of contenders for the upcoming Oscars with a selection of mostly strapless and embellished gowns with fitted bustiers. An actress could easily end up on a Best Dressed list in one of these show-stoppers.
