Phillip Lim x Target – Target has announced that it is working on an exclusive fall collection with New York-based designer Phillip Lim. Set to hit stores on September 15th, the collaboration will include clothing and accessories such as shoes and bags as well as travel accessories. “Since an early age, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of design evolution,” says Phillip Lim. “One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire – one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible.” The collection features more than 100 pieces and ranges in price from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories.
Spring Launch – 3.1 Phillip Lim is one of fashion’s most notable names, but has waited until now to launch its first advertising campaign. For spring 2013, the brand tapped rising stars Katryn Kruger and Franzi Mueller for images photographed on the streets of New York by Alessio Bolzoni. The colorful images were styled by Nancy Rohde and set to launch online and in print with magazines such as Another, LOVE, Interview and Vogue US.
