Lensed by Jean-Paul Goude, Laetitia Casta portrays the legendary Mae West for the August edition of Harper’s Bazaar US where glamour and camp is everything. Styled by Alex Aikiu in couture from Armani, Dior and others, Laetitia’s portrayal is nothing short of stunning in I’m No Angel.

  3. Interesting, more like a toned down Lachapelle shoot.

Would have been great to have more focus on Laetitia. I was on a shoot with her a few years back and she was just simply gorgeous and natural. Sort of like the really amazing girl that you always had a crush on and was the nicest girl you knew.

She simply blew me away, one of my all time favorite models from even before I was in the industry.

  5. I forgot to write that its Dior, but I didnt see it in the current spring or fall collections, and it looks exactly like the dress Ai Tominaga wore in the fall 2004 Austro-Hungarian princesses Couture collection. wondered why they would use an old collection (although, its one of the most beautiful John Galiano has made :))

  11. Mae West was the original Hollywood truly “liberated woman” who wrote and starred in her own films.  Unfortunately she had the misfortune to have lived a long life, avoiding the die young and leave a beautiful corpse that has elevated other blonde bombshells into immortality.  Hopefully Mae West’s spirit will be brought back to  life  by being reinterpreted in an updated manner to appeal to today’s audience.  R.
