Lanvin is a French fashion house first founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin. Lanvin made its name with feminine clothing, sumptuous fragrances and luxe embroideries. After a decline in the latter half of the twentieth century, spark for the brand was renewed in the twenty-first. In 2001, Alber Elbaz was named creative director and brought new life to the label with his wearable yet ladylike luxe aesthetic and still works for the brand to this day. In 2010, Lanvin collaborated with fast fashion brand H&M for a limited edition collection. For Lanvin’s fall 2014 campaign, the brand tapped model Edie Campbell and her whole family to star in the advertisements. Lanvin’s iconic logo features a mother and daughter holding hands.
