George and Kate – After a design revamp for its last issue, Vogue Paris appears to be going in a more commercial direction with its October cover featuring supermodel Kate Moss and pop star George Michael. The duo was photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt.

  1. This is quite appalling.

    Not only has VOGUE confirmed its status as a very old dog with no new tricks, but this cover & series manages to effortlessly lower it to the depths of Grazia or Hello Magazine.

    Both George & Kate have been styled without even a suggestion of originality or daring, and both of them have been Photoshopped to within an inch of their lives.

    Either Alt has completely lost interest, or completely lost any talent & insight she ever had, or she’s trapped under something heavy and someone with no understanding of what VOGUE Magazine actually stands for has taken her place.

    Either way this is the most heinous and insulting assault on the VOGUE readership I’ve ever seen, and a blatant effort to use cheap celebrity to sell what was once an industry-leading magazine.

    Nothing but a shrill, shrieking fraud, badly conceived, badly executed and leaving a thoroughly bad taste in the mouth.
