Revisiting its fall collection, the most recent lookbook from Dolce & Gabbana stars Vlada Roslyakova, Olga Sherer, Zuzana Gregorova, Regina Feoktistova, Kamila Filipcikova as women of sophistication in well-fitted gowns and tailored seperates.   1. I love the close-up shots, especially of lovely Vlada. Aside from that, I think the appalling clothes are to blame for the amateur appearance of the ad. The "posed" concept with bold colours might have worked more classic clothes.

    • Why??? It's drab, the only point of interest is in the retouching, and all the clothes look straight out of the show "Jersey Shore."

  4. Perhaps it's not really supposed to look high end. I think that D&G have done other things that could be construed at "tacky" — I chalk it up to their being Italian. In a lot of ways, D&G is like the expensive big sister of GUESS, another Italian brand that straddles the line between lux and tacky — just at a different price point.

    I do think the styling of the shoot is a bit stilted — but on the other hand it definitely keeps the clothes as the focus…which is kinda the point.
