Chloe’s fall 2011 outing fully embraced a minimal silhouette but added some maximalist appeal with reptile prints in neutral shades. Designer Hannah MacGibbon had the Chloe woman donning belted dresses, relaxed shapes and patchwork color blocking for the new season. Ending on a ultra-feminine note, models wore ruffles and oversize bows with billowing capes.
I love this collection! Especially the all white dress and cape with the huge bow… It’s a truly princess-like outfit!

Hmmm, not my favorite. I do love the python printed belted dresses but not so much on most of the rest of it.

Love all the snake print, which is probably going to be THE BIGGEST trend this season, and the colors are quite nice. Its a bit different from usual Chloe collection, which is nice.

My coming of age coincided with the brand’s halcyon days, under Phoebe Philo, when the air seemed sonorous with the ‘clunk-clop, clunk-clop’ of waifish girls in wooden wedges – but here, with another MacGibbon collection, I feel disappointed.
Though more interesting than her previous meditations on camel, there’s still little to write home about.

This was one of the shows I was most looking forward to for Paris Fashion Week, and though I couldn’t watch it live on the website (I was busy getting an education) I watched it later and did NOT feel disappointed. A lot of the shoes, however, are very ordinary and the only ones that caught my eye were the ones with bows tied on the front. So pretty 🙂
