Donatella Versace showed off the glamorous side of sport for Versace’s spring-summer 2017 runway presentation. From nylon windbreaker jackets to boxy moto styles and track pants, athletic staples were key. Despite the sporty overtones, Versace did not relinquish the label’s signature sexiness. Dresses with high slits and cutout details dominated the runway as did knit crop tops and miniskirts. A color palette of deep purples, greens, blues, red and yellow complemented eye-catching prints. For the finale looks; there were no gowns but instead dresses with sparkling mesh made of crystal embroideries.
