Shakira on Elle – Colombian songstress and “The Voice” judge Shakira covers the July 2013 edition of Elle US, which hits newsstands on June 25th. Photographed by Carter Smith, Shakira looks rocker chic on the new issue wearing a Versace top and Diane von Furstenberg shorts. Inside the magazine, the blonde beauty opens up about motherhood, “I’m still trying to figure it out…Some people put it like it’s very idyllic, some people put it like it’s a torturing experience, but it’s not quite one thing or the other. It’s like life – it comes with everything.”

  1. If they were so keen on having the huge SHAKIRA text, they should have gotten rid of all the other text. The cover looks way too busy. But Shakira looks great, both on the cover and in the preview.

  2. Ew. That’s one hell of an ugly font. That shade of yellow and black always remind me of Madonna’s Dick Tracy debacle and so I’m pretty sure, it’s pretty tacky. Not to mention the little star under the exclamation mark and the outfit she’s wearing.
    Other than that… 🙂
