Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2015–As the final day of New York Fashion Week came to a close, Ralph Lauren presented what the show notes describe as a “romantic safari” for his spring-summer 2015 collection. The casualness of khakis were paired with evening wear fabrics and shapes for a luxe spin on the theme. While army green, black and tan made an appearance on the runway, Lauren did not shy away from color—showing bold orange, yellow, purple and fuchsia tones in a sea of neutrals. The finale look went all in for the explorer theme, featuring a safari jacket on top while a green silk taffeta skirt billowed to the floor for a casually glam moment.
