McQ Alexander McQueen Spring 2015–The McQ girl takes her rebellious attitude to the 90s with an outing of sporty, wearable clothing for spring 2015. Standouts of the season include rose gold foil vests paired over ribbed-knit dresses as well as jackets and pants decorated with grommet holes. Plaid gets mixed and matched while sheer paneling gives a slightly athletic vibe.
Alberta Ferretti Spring 2015–Things get romantic for the spring-summer 2015 runway show from Alberta Ferretti. Of course, one can not be surprised considering Ferretti’s penchant for creating dreamy and pretty dresses for the girl’s girl. For spring, it was all about bohemian style with sheer and long gowns adorned with floral embellishments. This bohemian has edge though—hemlines are left purposefully ragged for an undone look while fringe adorns daytime dresses as well as sandals and bags. Suede, which was a trend in New York, has also made its way to Milan with Gucci and now Ferretti.
Gucci Spring 2015–While last season Gucci creative director Frida Giannini went for a sixties mod look, the spring-summer 2015 collection from the Italian label took a trip to the seventies. Presented during the first day of Milan Fashion Week, the outing focused on sportswear of the decade with shades of bohemian style peeking through. Cropped denim jeans in a relaxed boyfriend cut were paired with band jackets while jewel-toned skirts in suede were worn with furry vests. For accessories, soft leather messenger bags, strappy sandal heels and calf-high boots embraced the seventies vibe as well.
Holidays with Karlie–After appearing in the fall ads, Karlie Kloss is back for the holiday 2014 campaign from Lancaster Paris. The accessories label tapped Guy Aroch to shoot a romantic series of images where Karlie is shown posing with the luxe bags of the season such as the Scarlett, the Karine and the Marie. An easy updo and red lip bring an elegant beauty look to the holiday advertisements.
