  1. Okay, I'm a 1930s-1960s-era-dresser, so obvi I've been loving the retro influence that's come back in vogue for editorials, but seriously…do there have to be 9874325 of them, and do they ALL have to be based on the same Louis Vuitton hoop dress/Wang cateye/Prada ankle sock and heel combo??

    • TY. Every season, the same 10 pieces by the same 5 designers get done to death. We can already predict that LV and Prada and that infernal Miu Miu dress are going to be in EVERY vintage style editorial… AGH. Like Fendi shoes, Burberry knots, Gucci metalwork, and Dior boudoir looks from S10

    • Thank God SOMEONE said it. I was about to say that you can have too much of a good thing. Editorials need to be a little more innovative.

i agree about "the same Louis Vuitton hoop dress/Wang cateye/Prada ankle sock and heel combo"

maybe the point is to bring the message to the broader public

    • I'd prefer that combo over and over again to the super flashy, uberphotoshopped eighties inspired stuff, or even the overly done bohemian in a field of flowers stuff.

  3. I absolutely adore the second last picture especially cause of the reflection in the mirror. The styling is awesome too, love the bag, the shades and the coral pink socks!!!! Agree that the whole vintage thing isn't fresh, but then again, who doesn't love vintage?! It's like History but with so much more appeal.
