  1. At first i couldn’t tell if it was cgi or not. After i got over that debate, i couldn’t stop thinking that the model is disturbingly thin.

  2. A couple of the images from the last chunk are good since there is little room for retouching, and the composition lends a lot to praise, but I feel that focus is too soft in some of the earlier shots, which doesn’t work well with this shoot. Also, I think monitor calibration is off or something, because the retouching is so obvious.

    • FINALLY! finally someone has said it! I don’t understand all the recognition with Lara Jade. She uses the same soft effect focus on ALL her photos.

  4. The Retouching is really really bad, she looks like she has dirt on her skin.. LJ has a huge internet fan club of teenagers cause she looks pretty, but no skills. People only want in cause of the hits she gets on the internet.

  6. I’ve known Lara Jade on the internet ever since she began “photographing” on deviantart.com. Although, she has improved some there is still PLENTY of room to develop her skills. I don’t know what makes her think she can take photographs just because she has a camera. =/

  9. People who think there is absolutely nothing wrong with these pictures are just loyal stupid dogs who can’t tell a difference between their ass to a hole in the ground.

  10. I love Lara Jades work.Shes very talented, if she wasnt- she sure as well wouldnt be asked to do magazine work right? I have a feeling most of these comments are from the same
person (s) with different screen names. People are so jealous and stupid. Shes talented, and obviously theres some jealousy going on here. Probably someone she was friends with or something and they got upset that she got more recognition than them. If Lara is reading this…I hope she understands that these comments are pure hatorade at its finest. Losers, get a clue.

    • I wouldn’t say pure hatred. Most of the feedback on here- although negative- is constructive and true.
Please don’t jump to conclude that everyone on the internet hates everyone else.

  11. I like Lara jade’s Work but i agree with all these comments that the retouching its not at the level of an editorial
and i must say that she has done better retouching than this one
    Fail for this

  12. I’ve been following Lara Jade’s works. And I think she is gorgeous and stunning. I want to be like her someday. I don’t think the retouching is the worst and kid could do it better. Because there’s following famous photographers have ever one or more bad retouching. It’s not because Lara or the others couldn’t do it. It’s because no one perfect in this world. And if this retouching is bad it doesn’t mean that Lara Jade doesn’t have any skill on photography. If she doesn’t have skill, why should magazine or brand want her to be their photography?

I think Lara wants to show the “fragile” to this model and photo. Fragile is strong enough with softness and white. So the retouching is full of pale, white and softness. And I really disappointed with their who said Lara doesn’t have a skill. They’re just jealous.
