On the cover photographed by Kenneth Willardt, she wears her lob length haircut in a wavy style as well as a glossy lip. The actress and singer is ready to take the world of television by storm in her new drama ‘Shades of Blue’.

Set to premiere on January 7, on NBC, ‘Shades of Blue’ sees Lopez as a New York detective who gets caught up in an FBI anti-corruption probe. The show also stars Ray Liotta and Drea de Matteo. About her role as Harlee Santos, J.Lo says, “I really do know the world that Harlee lives in.” She continues, “I lived in the Bronx, and if I didn’t dream of becoming a performer and a singer and I had decided to be a cop, she is who I would be right now. I have those kinds of street smarts. I know what it’s like to walk these streets and neighborhoods.”
