With eight number one songs on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart, Erika Jayne is ready to take over the airwaves once again with her new single ‘How Many?’. An anthem for those who have to deal with the haters, the catchy chorus goes, ‘How many f–ks do I give? None, Not One, Zero, Zero, Zero, Done!’. Since appearing on the sixth season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ as Erika Girardi (Jayne is her stage name), the blonde bombshell has dealt with her fair share of criticism but also quickly became a fan favorite. We recently got the chance to interview Erika Jayne, and ask her about the inspiration behind the new video, amazing wardrobe and more.

“I don’t think it’s important to give too much credit to what others think of you. You must consider the source and the motive of their criticism…I feel like confidence comes with experience and age.”

What inspires your costumes on stage? What are three words you would use to describe Erika Jayne’s style?
It’s important that the costumes are sexy yet still functional. Erika Jayne is Glitz, Glamour, and Fun.

Your style is so bold and risqué. Is there anything that you would never wear?
I am sure there is, I just haven’t come across it yet.

What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I walk around the house with a Hello Kitty blanket draped into a poncho.

We love all the outfit changes in your new video ‘How Many F–ks’, can you tell us about the inspiration behind them?
For the ‘How Many’ video, we designed every look! The pink room was based off of 90’s Versace and Chanel ads – of course with our twist. The gold room was inspired by the drama of my trip to Dubai, fashionably speaking. And the white room was our place to have fun! We even custom-made the money print used for my costume. Our jewelry table was one whole side of the dressing room! Videos are a place to be a character; to live in a world, and that’s what we did.

And speaking of the song, do you bring the zero f–ks attitude into your real life? It seems like criticism kind of rolls off of you on the show. Have you always been that way?
I don’t think it’s important to give too much credit to what others think of you. You must consider the source and the motive of their criticism and I feel like confidence comes with experience and age.

You have been very successful in your music career. What would you say is your proudest moment so far?
I am proud of all of it, it has been a great journey. I am proud of every moment.

And final question, can you give us details on any future projects?
I’m in the studio making more music and continuing to perform across the US, check the website to see if I am performing in a location near you.
