Carefree 70s – Continuing with our coverage of Free People’s “Through the Decades” book set to debut this November, we have an exclusive look at the 70’s chapter starring FP favorite Elsa Hosk and Marianna Santana. Lensed by David Bellemere, the bohemian duo wears all the staples of the hippy and disco era with flowing dresses, tribal prints, platform heels and sequined outerwear. Topped off with a bonfire in the desert, Elsa and Marianna wow in tousled locks by Patrice Delaroche and natural makeup by Deanna Hagan.

  2. I like the idea of the fire breathers But it really could have been executed better! And it doesn’t tie in with the other images. Also would have been better with a model who can do extreme poses then one who just stands there.

    • If there is ever anything wrong with the posing its the photographers fault, they are the ones directing the model and doing the editing. For all we know Elsa could have been going to town on the extreme posing and David encouraged her to pose in this way.

      • It’s not always the photographers fault some models just don’t know how to do well on extreme and make awkward poses that really don’t look good hence having to stick to safe poses or they wouldn’t end up with any shots at all.
        Maybe she went to town on it and they were all bad!! Shame.
        The whole shoot is pretty average.

          • Judging by your previous comments about free people, seems like you have more of a problem with the brand than the actual shoot! disgruntled?
