Van Noten’s New Landscapes – For spring 2012, Dries van Noten was inspired by photographs of natural and city landscapes for his collection presented during Paris Fashion Week. The result was a parade of classic couture inspired silhouettes with intriguing prints of city lights and botanical gardens in a muted palette with pops of colors found in nature. Focusing on proportion, the van Noten woman is elegantly chic for the new season in dramatic ruffles and pleats paired with sculpted tops.
