Paolo Roversi delivers yet another hauntingly beautiful layout to W October with “Dream Sequence”. The moody series stars Monika Jagaciak, Darya Kurovska, Dorothea Barth Jorgensen and Regina Feoktistova in ethereal designs by Chanel, Valentino amd Givenchy Haute Couture. Styled by Alex White, the quartet looks as if they stepped out of a period film with their demure makeup and hairstyles.

  1. Seriously adore Roversi! These are so eerie.

I’ve always wondered – does Roversi shoot in film? His works always have this raw, gritty, film quality to them.

    Thanks for this post!

  7. Paolo shot this with medium format digital. He can’t get 8×10 polaroids anymore. And slowly but surely, everyone will shoot digital. It just goes to show how an artist can still have a style and not have it be solely attributed to his equipment.
