Derek Lam follows up a glamorous spring with understated elegance for his fall 2011 showing for the fourth day of New York Fashion Week. Lam brought his own unique take on American sportswear with classic silhouettes revamped with touches of leather, sheer materials and fur. The garments also featured bold stripes along the pant legs, moving towards the hemline of coats and sack dresses.

    • I think it’s the lighting. I noticed on page 1 that the light/maybe reflected light was causing funky shapes on the girls’ faces; I imagine the effect just gets worse on darker skin and/or fuller lips.
