Gucci Goes Sleek for Spring 2020

Published on September 24, 2019

Gucci’s eclectic style gets pared down for the spring-summer 2020 season. Creative director Alessandro Michele channels the 1970s and 1990s with sleek silhouettes that are sometimes even sexy. The Gucci woman wears lace dresses, sheer fabrics, and tailored suiting. She accessorizes with oversized sunglasses featuring chunky chains as well as statement belts and leather gloves. A color palette includes various shades of burgundy, navy, olive green, peach orange, violet purple, and mellow yellow. Prints include geometric shapes, stripes, and checkered plaid. Choker necklaces, pointed-toe heels, and beanies round out these looks.
