Every year floral prints are one of the biggest trends for spring. And while we love the look, sometimes it can come across as a little boring. So how exactly do you bring a new spin on a classic look? Next time you find yourself shopping at a store like Simons, take heed of these style tips inspired by Sara Jessica Parker, Marion Cotillard and more stars. From metallics to color-blocking, florals are getting revamped in a big way.

MIX & MATCH: Take a cue from Kaley Cuoco's Lela Rose look, and mix and match your floral prints with another pattern. Just make sure to keep the look in the same palette. Photo: Tinseltown / Shutterstock.com

THE FLOWER CROWN: Spring is festival season after all, so why not have some fun with a bohemian-inspired flower crown? You can go bold like Adriana Lima at Desigual, or keep it more minimal with a understated headband. Photo: Fashionstock / Shutterstock.com

FLORAL METALLICS: Bring a futuristic edge to your floral look by wearing glittering metallic. Michelle Dockery's embroidered Dior dress certainly shines. But you can also get the same effect by wearing a floral print shirt paired with a metallic skirt or vice versa. Photo: Jaguar PS / Shutterstock.com

COLOR BLOCKED FLORALS: Who does not love a big splash of color during the spring? Sarah Jessica Parker's Prabal Gurung dress features bold color blocking and the floral trend. The solid black of her skirt tempers the look so it is not too overwhelming on the eye. Photo: Featureflash / Shutterstock.com
