Known for her grunge style and cutting edge sound, the blonde beauty does not seem like the first choice for a beauty line. However, this initial campaign imagery of her certainly looks cool with an eighties, Madonna-esque coif captured in black and white. This news comes fresh off her recent campaign for Maison Kistune’s spring 2014 line.
Sky for Kitsune – French fashion label Maison Kitsune taps singer Sky Ferreira for its spring-summer 2014 advertisements. According to Vogue.it, the campaign was photographed by Henrik Purienne and features the blonde in candid style portraits inspired by the New Wave of New York music. Sky has been a favorite of fashion throughout her career, appearing in images for Saint Laurent, Forever 21, Vigoss and more.
Music Makers – French label ElevenParis taps two music stars for its fall 2013 advertisements with Lenny Kravitz and Sky Ferriera. Lenny evokes a rock n’ roll attitude while Sky channels the rebirth of nineties grunge. Mathieu César photographed the duo in black and white snaps amidst a setting of anarchic ruins.
Sky by Hedi – Sky Ferreira teams up with Hedi Slimane once again for a series of promotional images shot with her upcoming album in mind. The Saint Laurent designer and 20 year-old pop star collaborated together on Saint Laurent’s pre-fall 2013 lookbook previously. The blonde beauty appears natural yet flirtatious with a fresh-faced look by makeup artist Amy Chance (Bernstein & Andriulli) and tousled tresses by hair stylist Christian Marc.

I kept telling myself: How can you possibly be this unhappy at 22?” Ferreira also opens up to Interview about her modeling, “I always thought I was ugly. People tell me that to my face: ‘Sky, you’re not pretty, but you look good in a different way. Like a cute zombie.’”
