Awakening in a Dream – For its spring 2013 campaign, Mulberry once again taps British photographer Tim Walker for a series of dreamy images. Meghan Collison poses in a majestic Georgian mansion outside London where set designer Shona Heath crafted a pastel landcape featuring underwater and lunar imagery. The Small Del Rey – Inspired by singer Lana Del Rey, Mulberry’s “The Del Rey” bag gets a miniature companion for the spring 2013 season in leather and suede styles with nickel hardware. The original Del Rey bag also has new styles for spring; including Milk Chocolate Heavy Suede, Nude Silky Snake Print Leather, Slate Blue Ostrich and textured Giraffe Haircalf.
Mulberry opens its first San Francisco store located on the city’s Grant Avenue. The store design concept is made in close collaboration with renowned British design architects Universal Design Studio. Like the flagship stores in London and New York, the interior design reflects Mulberry’s dedication to craftsmanship and features accessories, shoes and womenswear apparel from Mulberry’s core and seasonal collections.
Where the Wild Things Are – Lindsey Wixson returns for her third season as the face of Mulberry with the label’s fall 2012 campaign, lensed by Tim Walker. Mulberry’s new Tassel Collection hits stores today with mini, oversize and regular styles all finished in luxe leathers and studded tassels. The new collection is available online at Mulberry’s official site.
Through the Forest – Mulberry was inspired by fantasy and whimsy for its fall 2012 collection presented during London Fashion Week. Opening with an array of fur coats reminiscent of monsters from “Where the Wild Things Are”, autumn focused on a mix of textiles, colors and prints. Creative director Emma Hill also created silk dresses in vibrant, kaleidoscopic patterns worn underneath the season’s voluminous coats. Among the accessories on the runway was a new bag inspired by American songstress Lana Del Rey, simply titled the Del Ray. For the finale, in lieu of colorful prints–Hill sent out all black ensembles in fluid shapes.
Seaside Spring – Mulberry enlists models Lindsey Wixson and Frida Gustavsson for its spring 2012 campaign shot by Tim Walker. With art direction by Ronnie Cookie Newhouse, the girls take to Brighton Beach in spring brights and loose-fitting silhouettes. Mulberry’s Beach Spring – Mulberry was inspired by a trip to the retro English seafront for its spring 2012 collection shown during London Fashion Week. Pairing sheer dresses with leather jackets, the Mulberry girl is made to be seen with pumped up tresses and neon highlights. Not shy on prints, color blocking, zoo animal patterns and crystal embellishments all made an appearance in a fun display of feminine style.
Foxes, Feathers and Fantasy – Tim Walker returns to photograph the Mulberry’s advertising campaign for the fall 2011 season. Featuring foxes, feathers and fantasy–models Tati Cotliar and Julia Saner are fresh faced in Shona Heath’s whimsical set designs.
