Ming Xi and Hyoni Kang team up for the February issue of Dazed & Confused in a dreamy spread envisioned by Will Davidson. Aided by fashion editor Joanna Schlenzka, Davidson shoots as the dark haired beauties are graceful as dancers in looks from Thakoon, Paul Smith, Kenzo and others.
Givenchy’s spring 2011 couture showing gives way to another presentation this season with ten looks by designer Riccardo Tisci. Unique to the showing was a cast of all Asian models including Shu Pei, Ming Xi, Tao Okamoto, Hye Rim Park, Fei Fei Sun, Liu Wen, Jiang Xiao Yi, Ai Tominaga, So Young Kang and Du Juan. Perhaps the casting can be attributed the Eastern influence of the collection found in the delicate folds, structured shapes and warrior like headpieces inspired by Japanese artwork.

Continuing with a theme of masculine tailoring paired with feminine silhouettes, the February issue of Vogue China enlists Daniel Jackson to shoot Valerija Kelava and Ming Xi for a series of sultry images. Styled by Tiina Laakkonen, Valerija and Ming don a wardrobe of crisp monochromatics featuring the works of Alexis Bittar, Dries Van Noten and Giorgio Armani in Handsome Women.
V Magazine features some of the industry’s up and coming models lensed by Daniele & Iango. Styled by Sabina Schreder, fresh faces including Fei Fei Sun, Ajak Deng, Melodie Monrose, Ming Xi, Ajak Deng, Pauline Van der Cruysse and others wear looks from Chanel, Sonia Rykiel, Gucci and more in the black and white portraits.
Jason Wu offers a muted color palette for the pre-fall season. With twenty-seven looks worn by Ming Xi and Julia Saner, the collection features elegant separates with shades of 60s and 70s fashion. Lace and sheer fabrics also make an appearance for an overall strong showing.
