Du Style – Starring in the pages of South China Morning Post’s Style Magazine, Du Juan dons a wardrobe of spring delights styled by Julie Ragolia. From Givenchy’s animal prints to Jil Sander’s floral explosion, Du Juan wows in front of Zach Gold’s lens.
Givenchy’s spring 2011 couture showing gives way to another presentation this season with ten looks by designer Riccardo Tisci. Unique to the showing was a cast of all Asian models including Shu Pei, Ming Xi, Tao Okamoto, Hye Rim Park, Fei Fei Sun, Liu Wen, Jiang Xiao Yi, Ai Tominaga, So Young Kang and Du Juan. Perhaps the casting can be attributed the Eastern influence of the collection found in the delicate folds, structured shapes and warrior like headpieces inspired by Japanese artwork.
Du Juan joins Jerry Fu for the January-February cover shoot of Numéro China. Lensed by Mei Yuan Gui, Du Juan is seventies chic whiile sporting the designs of Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli and others styled by Joseph Carle.
Steven Meisel shoots a group of Asian top models for the December issue of Vogue US. Styled by Grace Coddington, the girls including Bonnie Chen, Du Juan, Hyoni Kang, Lee Hyun Yi, Lily Zhi, Liu Wen, So Young Kang and Tao Okamoto sport a juxtaposition of punk and elegant glamour.
After a series of previews, H&M finally treats us with their Holiday 2010 campaign starring an all star cast including Mariacarla Boscono, Liya Kebede, Stella Tennant, Kasia Struss, Du Juan, Fei Fei Sun and their family members and friends. Wearing holiday themed clothing, the group gets us into the holiday spirit with these charming images.
