Rag & Bone Fall/Winter 2014 | New York Fashion Week

Rag & Bone Fall 2014–Continuing its tradition of urban girl apparel, the fall-winter 2014 show from Rag & Bone introduced some kitschy elements to the new season with a brief nod to the 1950s and 80s. Models hit the runway in plaid coats, bowling shirts (sometimes elongated as dresses) and suede separates. The retro influence can also be seen in embroidered pieces featuring the models’ names such as Joan Smalls and Georgia May Jagger. Bold graphic prints and patterns as well as cocoon shaped outerwear add a contemporary twist to the dark ensembles.
