Karlie’s New ‘Do – Karlie Kloss took the short hair plunge for a feature in Vogue US’s January issue, spotlighting the haircut of the moment. Photographer Patrick Demarchelier captured her journey from long brown tresses to a sheared, rebellious coif.
After appearing backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with a short hairdo back in November, many wondered why Karlie took the “big chop”, and who wouldn’t cut their hair for Vogue? Hair guru, Garren, who was responsible for the iconic hairstyles of Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Amber Valletta amongst others gave the American beauty a short ‘do with a rock and roll inspired edge. “I love it,” Karlie told the magazine. “[A shorter haircut] actually takes the focus off your hair and puts the focus on you. I’m starting to realize that it’s all about confidence.”
