DSquared2’s Dirty Denim – Always a label to stick to themes for the runway, DSquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten paid homage to music festivals with their spring 2012 collection presented on the final day of Milan Fashion Week. With their trademark denim, the DSquared2 duo had all the signatures of a music festival complete with mud, fringe, floppy hats and even beer bottles. With shades of Woodstock and beach culture, models walked down the catwalk in bold hues and colorful accessories including flag prints.

  1. OK, I’m lost.  First of all, why does everything these 2 do have to have a hokey, wild west feel to it?  Secondly, why would you want to pay thousands for clothing that is ALREADY DIRTY?!  I mean, are the clothes sold with mud on them?  How about those dresses that are wet & dirty at the bottom?  WHY?  Maybe they were drinking when they came up with this concept.
