Roberto Cavalli Spring 2015–Inspired by the carefree spirit of summertime, Roberto Cavalli presented a vibrant and colorful spring-summer 2015 collection at Milan Fashion Week earlier today. The Italian designer had his penchant for kaleidoscopic prints fully on display with an outing of bold stripes, animal spots, florals and abstract shapes decorated across long maxi gowns and flirty, ruffled skirts. Denim was also featured on the catwalk, frayed and distressed —a contrast to the Cavalli woman’s silky blouses with embroidered details. A dress worn by Binx Walton, adorned with feathers and glittering details, brought a high-octane moment to the runway.

Versace Spring 2015–After her Versus showing during New York Fashion Week featured form-fitting, mostly black looks, Donatella Versace did the same for the opening outfits at Versace’s spring-summer 2015 outing in Milan. But as the show progressed, the volume was turned way up in turns of not only color but also in different design elements.

From sporty mesh looking numbers worn over beachwear sets to leather jackets featuring intricate cutouts to large grommet holes; the Versace girl grabs attention as soon as she enters the room. The graphic prints and playful cuts bring a slightly athletic vibe to the clothes while bags also feature a few peekaboo elements. The finale was all about the shine with glitter decorated dresses featuring sheer panels and bold zig-zags.

Missoni Spring 2015–Angela Missoni presented a watercolor dream for Missoni’s spring-summer 2015 collection presented during Milan Fashion Week earlier today. The womanly looks were light and airy with a focus on summery knitwear and the brand’s iconic prints. From rich purples to sunny yellows and vibrant reds; almost every hue seemed to be on display. The Missoni woman is all about easy daytime dressing this season, even when it comes to her accessories—going as far to wrap a scarf around her hair and finish the look with wooden sandals or menswear inspired brogues.

Blumarine Spring 2015–While last season found inspiration in Japan, the spring-summer 2015 collection from Blumarine looked to a garden of delights. The new season is all about colorful and blooming flowers. From appliqués on sheer dresses to silk prints to even sequin applications, it is all about embracing nature. The color palette is certainly rich featuring shades of pink, yellow and blue. But there is also plenty of graphic elements with the inclusion of black and white designs. Keeping with the nature theme, the final three looks took on more abstract flower details—embellishments mimic the shape of petals while ruffles echo rose shapes.
